George is responsible for overseeing Rayliant’s government-focused, Taft-Hartley and institutional client relationships in the US. He brings unparalleled experience in government service, with more than 20 years as a public official in the State of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Rayliant, George was elected as the Allegheny County Clerk of Courts and was appointed to the Allegheny County Pension Board. In his hometown of Duquesne, he was twice elected Mayor of the city and once as the City Controller. As Mayor he was instrumental in developing the strategy that enabled Duquesne’s Pension Fund to become fully funded, among other achievements.
Upon leaving public service George held a variety of positons within corporate Pittsburgh. He served as the Director of Business Development and Community Relations for both the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center and at Rivers Casino, gaining experience in marketing, client development, budgets and operations.
George received a MS in Business Administration and Industrial Relations from St. Francis University in Loretto, PA. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he received a BS in Business Administration.
