Ruoyuan Yu 于若远, MFE

As a Researcher at Rayliant, Ruoyuan specializes in researching CTA strategies and commodities trading market. He is based in the firm’s Hangzhou office.

Before joining Rayliant, Ruoyuan was a quantitative analyst with experience researching and developing investment strategies for the cryptocurrency market, China A-shares, and other financial products at Regtech, LiCaiFan, and Moody’s Analytics, respectively.

Ruoyuan completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Communications, at the University of Ottawa, where he graduated summa cum laude. Thereafter, he earned his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto and his Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
