
Yingfan Xia 夏英凡, MFE
Yingfan Xia first joined Rayliant as a 2018 summer intern and then joined the firm as a Researcher in February 2019. His early work at Rayliant included building an automated data collection program, performing factor research to find valid signals with a theoretical background, testing their performance, and adding valid signals in product development. Yingfan’s factor research delves into topics such as momentum effects in China A/B share markets, retail investor performance in Taiwan and Korea’s stock markets, and social network effects on Chinese and US stock markets.
Yingfan graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics and a minor in Economics. He earned his Master of Financial Engineering at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
