Broken Tuan 段嘉尚, PhD

Dr. Tuan is responsible for Rayliant Global Advisors’ business in Asia, where he supports the firm’s clients and partners across the region to develop, launch, and market investment products based on Rayliant’s strategies.

Before joining Rayliant, Dr. Tuan served as the head of Asia for Research Affiliates Global Advisors, where he oversaw strategic business development for the region and provided consulting and education to asset owners as an investment specialist. He has also served as the executive senior vice president for Falcon Crest Global Capital, a Hong Kong-based investment advisory firm specializing in institutional consulting and sub-advisory services; and as executive managing director at Arcon Financial Leasing in Beijing.

Broken holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science and Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from Taiwan Cheng Kung University. He also earned a Ph.D. from Beijing Jiao-Tong University‘s Economical and Business Management School, where he conducted research on Merger and Acquisition in China. He’s also served as a researcher at the Center for International Finance and Economics at Taiwan Cheng-Chi University and as a visiting scholar at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed his post doctorate research and received the title of Associate Research Fellow from the Institute of Finance and Banking at the Chinese Academy of Social Science.
