Fan Chen 陳凡, MBA

Fan is responsible for investment management and strategy development in China.

Prior to joining Rayliant, Fan was an Investment Director at Ping An of China in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, heading research and investment activities of quantitative strategies for Ping An Securities. In this capacity, he developed and managed factor based cross asset strategies for Chinese domestic markets and was the lead Portfolio Manager of China’s 1st risk premium based global macro hedge fund strategy for global markets. Prior to Ping An, Fan was at PIMCO headquarter in Newport Beach, focusing on the trading and portfolio management for its flagship and biggest global macro hedge fund and conducting research for various quantitative strategies. Fan holds an MBA from Booth School of Business at University of Chicago and an MFE from Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He graduated from Wuhan University in China.
