Sam Zang 臧元, FRM

As a senior researcher for the Investment Solutions team, Sam mainly focuses on developing portfolio analytics, messaging and content in support of both portfolio managers and key Rayliant stakeholders. Sam takes pride in providing outstanding client service amid changing market conditions.

Sam previously worked at Wind Info as the product manager of Portfolio Management System(PMS) platform, a multi-class portfolio analytics solution for a Chinese institution with over 5000 daily active users. Sam was responsible for the product design, strategy and marketing.

Prior to Wind, Sam worked as a senior consultant for FactSet, where he managed a book of strategic sell-side and buy-side accounts across the Greater China region offering FactSet’s quantitative solutions and portfolio life cycle products to the clients.

Sam earned a Master’s degree of Financial Risk Management in University of Connecticut and a Bachelor degree in Finance from Dong Hua University in China.
