Himanshu Surti

Himanshu is Rayliant’s Chief Operating Officer and Head of ETFs. Himanshu focuses on management of Rayliant’s ETF business. During his two decades in investment management, his work has spanned ETF product management, operations, capital markets, portfolio construction, design, and governance. In his ETF career, he has led the launch of 26 ETFs, including complex tax-free reorganizations and conversions.

Prior to joining Rayliant, Himanshu was a Senior Vice President at Northern Trust Investments, serving as the Director of Product Management for an ETF suite of over 40 funds representing an array of investment strategies, global markets, and asset classes.

Prior to Northern Trust, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Cambria Investment Management. Before joining Cambria, he was a Strategy Manager at Research Affiliates.

Himanshu is a former engineer. He worked at RBF Consulting (now Michael Baker International) and Parsons Corporation, working on several complex systems design and integration projects.

Himanshu received a Diploma in Civil Engineering from University of Mumbai, an MS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
