Charles Astorتشارلز آستر, Chartered MCSI

Charles is Head of the Middle East and Europe at Rayliant. He is a Chartered Member of the CISI (UK) and has published articles in the financial press on the topic of investor education.

In his role, Charlie leverages his deep knowledge and connectivity in the Arabian Gulf and surrounding countries to help Rayliant better understand and address the investment needs of the institutional asset owners in the region. Charlie has a long track record in the Middle East via his father who served in the House of Lords from 1984 to 2022, and as a senior advisor to the Sultan of Oman until the Sultan’s death in 2020. Charlie often accompanied his father on his trips to the Middle East region as well as hosted visitors from the region on their trips to London and has developed his own strong relationships over the last 15 years.

During his time with Rayliant, Charles has served on the Advisory Board of Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Charles graduated from King’s College London (KCL), University of London, in Political Economy and French.
